Tribological Properties of Polyimide Bonded MoS2 Solid Lubricant Coatings in Different Oils

Abstract:
In order to explore tribological properties and mechanism of polyimide bonded MoS2 solid lubricant coating in oils,the friction and wear of polyimide bonded MoS2 solid lubricant coating in four different oils(Kerosene RP-3,lubrication oil SG 15W-40,diesel fuel 0#and paraffin liquid) were investigated on a MHK-500 friction-wear tester.The results showed that the antifriction and antiwear properties of the coating in oil(especially in Diesel fuel) were markedly improved than that of the coating under dry slid...
