AN ANALYSIS OF THE FINITE ELEMENT METHOD ON NONLINEAR EQUATIONS OF AXIAL SYMMETRY WITH MAGNETIC FIELD DISTRIBUTION

Abstract:
This article gives the analysis and numerical computation on nonlinear equations ofaxial symmetry with magnetic field distribution by finite element method. The conver-gence of the related solution is proved by the use of Galerkin method. The convergenceof Newton process for the corresponding nonlinear algebraic equations for the finiteelements is likewise proved. Apart from these, a brief account about the tricks and satis-factory results in using accelerating convergence method 2] to solve the problem is given.
