Wear Mechanism on 3Cr13 Coating under Accelerated Condition of Dry Friction

Abstract:
The MM200 tribo-tester was used to investigate the accelerated wear life mechanism of 3Cr13 coating prepared by high velocity arc spraying under dry friction condition.The cross-sectional microstructure,hardness and residual stress of the coatings were analyzed and observed by means of SEM,XRD,Vicker hardness tester and Nano-test 600 indentation tester under an accelerated wear process of coatings,which consists of run-in wear,stable wear and severe wear.The results of experiments showed that the wear mecha...
