A physical and mathematical packing model about fillers in bonded coating was described in this paper. Based on the model? particle size distributions, oil absorbed volume of solid lubricants, densities of solid lubricants and binders a computer program to calculate the ratio of organic binder to one or more kinds of solid lubricants was compiled. This paper introduces briefly how to use the pro2ram and demonstrates calculated results. The distribution of solid lubricants in coatings and its influence on friction and wear behavior of coatings were also discussed.
