A SEPARATING METHOD FOR GENERALIZED NONLINEAR LEAST SQUARES PROBLEMS
广义非线性最小二乘问题的一个分离解法

This paper presents a hybrid GN-BFGS method for the solution of gener alized nonlinearleast squares problems. The first order necessary condition of a stationary points is used toeliminate the dependence of the variable vec~+or in the objective function, giving a lower di-mensional separated problem. Then the subproblem is solved using the hybrid GN-BFGS me-thod which combines the better features of both the Gauss-Newton and BFGS methods.
