BLOCK ITERATION FOR SOLVING LARGE SPARSE LEAST-SQUARES PROBLEMS
用分块迭代法求解稀疏最小二乘问题

In this paper, we consider the block-SOR and SSOR iterative methods for solvinga least-squares problem with a large sparse coefficient matrix. The result about the convergence of the block-SOR iteration is given in 1]. TheSame result is derived here by means of a more straightforward method. We show that the block-SSOR iteration is "absolutely" convergent in a sense.
