Polyamide12(PA12) and its nano-silica doped(PA12/n-SiO2) coatings were prepared by flame spraying.The structures of feedstock powder and the coatings were analyzed by FTIR and XRD.The friction and wear behaviors of the PA12/n-SiO2 composite coatings were investigated using a MRH-3 tribo-tester.Based on the morphological observations of the worn surfaces,the wear mechanism was discussed.The results showed that flame spraying can be used to prepare polyamide 12 coating.The FTIR spectrum revealed no oxidation ...
