Abstract:
Friction and wear properties of two kinds of organic molybdenum compounds were evaluated on a four-ball friction and wear tester.Pentaerythritol ester as stock oil containing organic molybdenum such as molybdenum dialkyldithiophosphate(MoDDP),molybdenum dialkyldithiocarbamate(MoDTC) and zinc dialkyldithiophosphate(ZnDDP).The morphologies of the worn surfaces were observed using SEM.The chemical states of several typical elements on the worn surfaces were examined by XPS.The composite of oil-soluble organic ...
