Friction Properties of Carbon Fabric Reinforced PES-C/PTFE Composites

Abstract:
Different composites with various content of PES-C and PTFE were prepared,and the friction and mechanical properties were investigated using MRH-5A type ring-block wear tester and LJ-500 Universal Testing machine respectively.The influence of hot-embossing temperature and plasma surface treating were also studied.Carbon fabric highly improved flexural strength,friction and wear properties of PES-C/PTFE resin.Carbon fabric reinforced PES-C composites exhibited good mechanical and friction properties.For the ...
