Application of Surface Modification Technology in Fretting Tribology
表面改性技术在微动摩擦学领域中的应用

A review is briefly given of the research and development on the improvement of fretting resistant properties of materials at home and abroad.The fretting wear mechanisms of various surface modification coatings are analyzed after discussing the basic mechanism of fretting damage.It is showed that the fretting resistant properties of materials and the lifetime of components can be improved by applying various surface modification techniques such as surface hardening,coating,and alloying.
