Study on the Friction Behavior of Sulphurized Carbon Steel
碳钢渗硫层面接触滑动摩擦特性的试验研究

The sulphurized carbon steel has good anti friction behavior and is widely used in industry. The anti friction behavior of sulphurized carbon steel by means of low temperature ion sulphurizing has been studied with pin on ring tester. The effect of variables such as load, thickness of sulphurized layer, surface roughness, and surface hardness on the friction coefficient has been analyzed.The results showed that the thickness of sulphurized layer could be somewhat thin at without sacrifice of the friction reduction performance.
