Investigation of Wear Performance of Engine Piston Rings
内燃机活塞环磨损试验研究

The thin layer activation technology was applied to investigate the wear behavior of the piston rings of S1100 type diesel engine. It has the characteristics of high sensitivity, on line measurement, and low radioactivity. The wear rate of the tested piston ring in 200 h continuous operation, measured with thin layer activation method, was conformable to the calculated one.
