A recursive method for phase retrieval in Fourier transform domain

In terms of the cascading property and additivity of the order of the fractional Fourier transform, a new recursive algorithm is presented to implement phase retrieval from intensity measurements in the Fourier transform domain. This approach simplifies significantly computational manipulations compared with conventional iterative algorithms.
