Interconnected stability and cooperative control of linear time-delay systems
|
Abstract:
The interconnected stability and cooperative control for linear time-delay systems are investigated using the bilinear matrix inequality(BMI). Sufficient conditions for interconnected stability and cooperative stabilization for two subsystems are given. The design of interconnected and cooperative controllers is converted into a non-convex optimization problem with BMI constraints. Some alternate algorithms for solving these problems are proposed. Numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods. Results show that unstable subsystems can be configured into a stable composite system through proper interconnection and by using the cooperative controllers.
