Fault diagnosis based on duality principle for systems with time-delay
|
Abstract:
Fault diagnosis is studied for time-delay systems with actuator faults and sensor faults, and a design scheme of fault diagnoser is presented based on duality principle. The faulty states are transformed into the states of an augmented system, and the design of the observer-based fault diagnoser is transformed into the design of the state feedback controller. According to different requirements, the asymptotically stable fault diagnoser and the performance-guaranteed fault diagnose are designed, respectively. By using the Lyapunov stability theory and linear matrix inequality technology, the fault diagnosis is realized on-line. Simulation results demonstrate the feasibility and the efficiency of the proposed scheme.
