Variable Structure Control for a Class of Systems with Mismatched Uncertainties

Abstract:
Variable structure control for a class of uncertain systems with mismatched uncertainties is proposed. The switching function is designed based on linear matrix inequality technology for the sub_system with mismatched uncertainties, and the corresponding variable structure control law is derived by the reachable condition of the sliding_mode motions. Furthermore, a new adaptive variable structure controller is presented with the estimations for the upper norms of the uncertainties.
