Optimal guaranteed cost control of dynamic interval systems:an LMI approach

Abstract:
The guaranteed cost control of dynamic interval systems with a given quadratic cost function is addressed.A design method for the optimal guaranteed cost controller is proposed in terms of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs).The results are also extended to parametric uncertain systems.With the powerful LMI toolbox,it is very convenient to solve these problems.The examples show that this method is effective to design the optimal guaranteed cost controller for dynamic interval systems and rank-1 parametric uncertain systems.
