Stabilization of a Class of Linearly Unobservable Nonlinear Systems by Dynamic Output Feedback
|
Abstract:
This paper deals with the problem of stabilization of a class of nonlinear systems with linearly unobservable modes by dynamic output feedback. Based on the concept of the stability in approximation, sufficient conditions for dynamic output feedback stabilizability are obtained. An immediate consequence of our result is that if a nonlinear system has relative degree and its zero dynamics is asymptotically stable in approximation, then it can be stabilized by dynamic output feedback. Our main result may handle some non minimum phase nonlinear systems.
