A Close-Loop Implementation of Square-Wave form Control for the Space Flexible Manipulator

Abstract:
Based on input shaping approach, a square-wave form control is proposed for a close-loop implementation. The output of a PD controller is modulated to the square wave form to eliminate both the residual vibration and maneuver error. The approach is applied to the simulation of a space flexible manipulator, and shown effective.
