A new method for downlink synchronization sequence fast searching

In this paper,we summarized the existing downlink synchronization sequence(SYNC_DL)searching methods in wireless communication system and analyzed the problem of computational complexity. According to the characteristics of the system frame structure, a kind of SYNC_DL searching scheme based on the logical characteristic window which can reduce the computational complexity is designed. By setting logical characteristic window,this method transforms mass numerical computation into logical computation which can reduce the computational complexity .The simulation results reveal that this method can complete downlink synchronization sequence searching more efficiently than traditional methods in high SNR environment, but the success ratio will decline obviously in low SNR environment.
