Linear Associative Memory and Its Application to Autocontrol

Abstract:
We simply introduce the principle of linear associative memory (LAM) and the method to realize it.Some types of LAM have been applied to contemporary photonic technology fields such as optical communication,spectroscopy,diffraction optics,radio astronomy,and electronic microscopy etc.,which are either related to information processing or image restoration or recognition. However it is a search how LAM be applied to modeling especially for complex plant in automatic control.It is discovered that LAM would take less time, but be higher precision and robust for the linearization of comlex nonlinear plants than the neural network (NN) method as we compared it with NN.The experiment of computer emulation is also proposed and the results are shown in figure.
