Analysis of ambiguity function for spaceborne SAR with integrated factors
|
Abstract:
A flight model for satellite is established and the ambiguity function of spaceborne SAR(synthetic aperture radar)is deduced considering the rotation of the earth, the earth's curvature and the satellite's orbit . The analysis of the ambiguity function shows that the function is affected by the rotation of the earth, the earth's curvature and the satellite's orbit. Furthermore, some simulations are performed to verify the above deductions. The simulation results show that the rotation of the earth makes the resolution unit of the ambiguity function for spaceborne SAR deflexed along the axis, and the earth's curvature influence on the ground range resolution indicated by the ambiguity function. The phenomenon is more obvious when the SAR has a long synthetic aperture time or a high orbit and a wide visual angle.
