A new strategy to reduce PAPR by combining OBM and clipping for CO-OFDM
|
Abstract:
This paper proposes a novel strategy by combing OBM(Orthogonal-band Multiplexing) and clipping to reduce the peak to average ratio in CO-OFDM systems. The basic principle of this strategy is to partition the CO-OFDM into multiple sub-band to decrease the sample points of IFFT, and then combine with clipping to further reduce the peak to average ratio, Simulation results show that the new strategy can effectively reduce the probability of signal's breadth exceeding the limit and further reduce the peak to average ratio in CO-OFDM systems, and improve the system performance.
