Multi-user transmit diversity based on linear transform for wireless communications

Abstract:
A new transmit diversity for a cellular system that a base station simultaneously communicates with N users is studied. Signals from the N users are encoded jointly using a linear transform and then transmitted with N independent channels. The received signal at a particular destination can be represented as lattice form and detected with sphere decoding algorithm.
