Measuring semantic similarity and relatedness has many applications in NLP,and many different measures have been proposed.We analysed the factors affecting concept similarity or relatedness in ontology,made a review of research on the ontology based semantic similarity measures,defined the connection and difference between similarity and relatedness,classified the measures,and finally we compared all kinds of the measures.
