A novel method of positioning solution for wireless location system in celluar network

Abstract:
The location algorithm is the core of wireless location technology research. Its quality would directly affect the performance of location system. In accordance with the feature of wireless location technology, based on coordinate transform principle, a method which is designed for position solution by using TOA measuring data is presented in this paper. By transform of spatial coordinat to location object, this method avoids the trouble of equation linearization, reduces calculation complexity, and greatly improves the precision of location estimation. Compared with the method of Expand to Taylor's Series, the simulation shows that this proposed method can effectively enhance performance of location system.
