A fast fractional pixel motion estimation algorithm is proposed for AVS_M in order to reduce the computation of fractional pixel ME.More motion vector predictions are utilized to enhance the accuracy.It adopts adaptive threshold decision to stride over unnecessary search or analyzes the matching error relationship of the fractional pixel candidate points to exclude the little possible points,when the predicted motion vector is not accurate.Experimental results show that,to all kinds of video sequences,the p...
