Grid File System for Computing in High Energy Physics

Abstract:
Based on the existing grid middle wares,a grid file system for computing in high energy physics was proposed and implemented.The goal was to integrate heterogeneous,dynamic,large-scale grid storage resources into a single and stable file system view and provide different QoS according to user's requirements.Its architecture and key technologies were described mainly including name service,storage resource management,data replication,user interface,and work flows.
