Research on Fault-tolerance Mechanism of COTS Components Based Generic Highly Reliable Fault-tolerant Computer

Customized fault-tolerant computer is costly, hard to develop and has poor scalability. Based on COTS components and separation of fault-tolerance and applications, a kind of architecture of generic highly reliable cost-effective fault-tolerant computer is proposed and implemented. In order to increase the observability and controllability of the internal states of COTS, an intelligent fault-tolerance management module is devised.
