A Survey on Visualization of Complex Network

Many real-world domains can be represented as complex networks. Visual depictions of networks, which exploit human visual processing, are more prone to cognition of the structure of such complex networks than the computational representation. Many characteristics of the Complex Network algorithms are analyzed firstly. Then the paper briefly introduces the general and special tools for the Visualization. Thirdly, the applications of visualization technology in several fields are presented. Finally, the new problems and challenges which arise from current research are discussed and some suggestions for future research work are put forward.
