Resource Location in Mobile IP and Mobile Ad Hoc Networks

The integration of Mobile IP and Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) are beneficial to both societies. However, in this environment, applications between two peers encounter some problems when they establish communication. These problems include unique name assignment, inter-domain name resolution, and connection disruption caused by IP address changing. This paper presents a new architecture that involves name assignment, IP address auto-configuration, DNS and Mobile IP resolves above problems.
