Directory service can effectively manage dynamic diverse resources in virtual organization. In distributed system,availability and security of directory service are important. The article presents a new proxy-based directory service. The model can support the distributed commercial application based on virtual organization. It strengthens the self-protection ability of directory service while assures the service's stabilization and high performance.
