The Concept and Approach for Digital Image Watermarking and Copyright Protection

The background and concept of digital watermarking technology applying to the copyright protection of multimedia digital products are introduced in this paper. Especially, the characteristics and framework for the digital image watermarking are analyzed in detail. Furthermore, by discussing current research trend, future research direc- tions are also given.
