A Differentiated Services Architecture for Wireless Ad Hoc Networks

The QoS supporting is a hot researching issue in wireless ad hoc networks. In this paper, we propose a dif- ferentiated service architecture for wireless ad hoc networks. The performance of the proposed architecture is evaluated by simulations. The simulation results show that the proposed architecture can provide better services for higher priori- tized traffic by degrading the qualities of lower prioritized traffic when the network resources are insufficient.
