Statistical Methods in the Data Mining

Data mining is the process of secondary analysis of large databases aimed at finding unsuspected relationships which are of interest or value to the database owners. We analyze the statistical methods in the classification in data mining, include: preprocessing techniques, classification algorithms, and post-classification analysis. Also, we introduce the Bavesian networks for data mining.
