Primary Research on Moving Spatial Data Types and Operators
移动空间数据类型和操作的初步研究

Spatio-temporal databases deal with geometries changing over time, or moving spatial objects. In this paper, research status on moving spatial objects have been reviewed. Data types and operators of moving spatial objects are also analysised and discussed. And we propose the abstract data type (ADT) approach to develop spatio-temporal DBMS. in which we first implement an ADT mechanism supporting for spatio-temporal data types, and then integrate it with the extensible DBMS to generate the spatio-temporal DBMS.
