Algorithm for Chinese Person Names Recognition Based on Part-of-Speech Detecting
基于词性探测的中文姓名识别算法

This paper presents a new approach to identify Chinese person names based on a statistical model integrat- ing Chinese word segmentation with part-of-speech tagging. The algorithm features in boundary affirmation of person names by detecting candidate characters. part-of-speech and in comparing the relative probability of would-be-word character.
