Based on noetic science, this paper discusses the forms and features of human thinking,and then analyzes a major advantege and shortcoming of current research on artificial intelligence. After human thinking having been compared with the research on artificial intelligence,a guide to artificial intelligence is proposed that Symbolism should combine with Connectionism.
