Design and Implementation of A Content-Based Image Retrieval System

This paper describes the design and implementation of a Content-Based Image Retrieval system @IMAGE. The system combines various technologies including multimedia, media storage, data organization, data model and image retrieval technology. Retrieval algorithm based on image colors,shapes and texture is introduced as well. This paper also gives its system architecture.implementation techniques and functions of @IMAGE.
