A New Method for Pattern Generation

To address how to use computer-generated patterns with the Characteristics of ethnic minorities in Xinjiang is a challenging problem. A new pattern generation method is proposed and confirmed in the practicality of the method. First, a segmentation algorithm is used to extract different texton of pattern. Then, pattern similar transformation rules are designed to generate fractal texton matrix. Re-introduction of almost-Arnold transformation rules, the fractal texton matrix perturbation are brought into generation a new pattern. A variety of patterns are generated by extracting patterns texton and introducing transformation rules in the database of Xinjiang Folk Art pattern. The proposed method is simple and able to quickly generate a large number of patterns with different national characteristics patterns.
