A Novel Mode Decision Algorithm Based on H.264
基于H.264编码模式的快速判决算法

Variable coding modes are used in H.264,which makes the mode selection a time-consuming component. To improve this situation, we first the concept of mode reference aggregate a mode reference aggregate decision algorithm is proposed based on region forecast. This method can significantly reduce the number of candidate mode,thus simplifying the procedure of mode decision. Experimental results show that the algorithm can increase the encoding speed significantly with negligible PSNR drop and bit-rate increase.
