A Study of the Fast Searching Method in Fractal Image Coding
分形图象编码中的快速插索方法研究

After making an intensive study of the principle of fractal image coding, this paper presents a fast searching method named RD searching method, which is based on the relation between the variance of range block and that of simply transformed domain block. When the quality of reconstructed image is comparable to that of JFB searching method, this one increases the encoding speed by about 2 times.
