An Improved Random Midpoint Displacement Algorithm
基于直方图指数平滑的阈值和峰点自动检测方法

Based on the study of the principles and experiment results of the random midpoint displacement algorithm(MPD)for fractal image generation,an improved version of MPD is proposed, which can be used for creating fractal images with predeterminate shape and outline.The efficiency of the presented algorithm has been proved by computer implementation.
