The XYZ Technique for Real Time Video Compression

This paper describes the theory and characteristics of 3D DCT technigue for real time video compression. 3D DCT technigue is a symmetric method used in video coding and decoding. As compared with the hybrid coding in existent internatonal standards (e.g.H.261, MPEG, etc.) , it has lower complexity, higher compression rate and better reconstructed image quality. Therefore the 3D DCTtechnique would have a very good spectacle in the area of real time coding.
