The Method of Threshold and Peak Detection Based on Histogram Exponent Smoothing

Abstract:
On the basis of image gray value histogram processing by using exponent smoothing,the paper proposed an auto detection algorithm of thresholds and peaks in histogram.Experimental results show that simple algorithm,greater running speed and reasonable thresholds and peaks can be obtained with this method.
