PREPARATION OF ULTRAFINE METAL PARTICLES BY COMBINED METHOD γ-RAY RADIATION—HYDROTHERMAL CRYSTALLIZATION

The γ-ray radiation technique combined with hydrothermal crystallization was firstlyused to prepare ultrafine metallic particles of An,Cu and Au-Cu alloy.Particle sizefor Au in average is about 10 nm.The morphologies were observed by TEM.Thenucleation mechanism of metal particles and their stability are discussed.
