IMPROVEMENT ON THE CALCULATION OF PLASTIC STRAIN RATIO IN BCC MONOCRYSTALS

Two improvements have been made on the calculation of plastic strain ratio (r value) in BCC monocrystals by considering the differences in the critical shear stresses among the three slip systems and the rotation of crystal lattice. It is found that the results calculated by the improved method are more rational.
