STUDY OF LACTARIUS FROM NORTHEAST OF CHINA

Abstract:
This is a report on the Lactarius collections from Northeast of China made by the authors in recent years.In these collections,there are 29 species,among which 2 species are described as new and 5 species are newly reported from China. L.chanbainensis sp.nov.is close to L.quietus Fr.,but differs in its paler pileus,in having special smell like rosin's,and watery latex unchanging yellow.It was only found growing on the alpine tundra.L.wenquanensis sp.nov.resembles L.scrobiculatus (Scop.)Fr.,but differs in the latex unchanging yellow.The type specimens of 2 new spe- cies are deposited in the Herbarium of Institute of Forestry and soil Science,Academia Sinica,Shenyang,China.The following 5 species are newly reported from China:L.necator, L.oculatus L.acris,L.repraesentaneus and L.maculatus.
