A NEW VARIETY OF THE PATHOGEN OF MAIZE TAKE-ALL
全蚀病菌在玉米上的新变种

A pathogen of maize take-ill is discribed as a new variety of Gaeumannomyces graminis, Gaeumannomyces graminis (Sacc.) Arx et Olivier var. maydis J. M. Yao, Wang et Zhu. The new variety differs from G. graminis var. tritici J. Walker, G. graminis var. graminis Trans, and G. graminis var. avenae (Turner) Dennis in morphology, pathogenicity, biology, and banding patterns of mycelial soluble proteins. The type specimen is deposited in the Fungal Herbarium of Shenyang Agricultural Universiy (MHSAU).
