Isolation Screening and Identification of Antagonistic Bacteria against Ginseng Rusted Root Disease

Abstract:
Totally 836 bacterial strains were isolated from Ginseng rhizosphere soil of Jilin and Liaoning provinces.Among those bacteria,10 strains showed strong antibiosis activity to Cylindrocarpon destructans.Isolate BS015 showed a wide range of antagonism against pathogens,such as Fusarium solani,Sclerotinia Schinseng,Alternaria panax.Based on the phenotypic characteristics and analysis of the 16S rDNA fragment,BS015 was identified as Bacillus subtilis.
